Our Pro Sound Board is composed of mineral fibers and is much lighter and more versatile than gypsum board or particle board, making it perfect for ceiling assemblies.

With an STC (Sound Transmission Class) value of 25, our Pro Sound Board has nearly three times the STC value of the most commonly-used product of its type. In addition, it has a Class A flame spread rating (highest rating), whereas the commonly-used product has only a poor C rating. Technically composited with one rough side for additional anti-reflective noise characteristics. Not crumbly like other products. Moisture resisitant.
